Dear People:

As month by month I pen my line for this love messenger, The Truth and Realization Magazine, you come closer and closer to me. This month I see you as one great family, bound together by strong ties of love, working a principle and for a common cause. As we gather around the Christmas fireside singing Christmas carols, let us take the whole wide world into our hearts. Let us unite in the great Hallelujah Chorus singing, "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good-will toward men."

If we keep constantly in our minds the thought, "Glory to God in the highest" and reiterate it again and again with a great thanksgiving welling up in our hearts and a constant recognition of the one Power which is Love, we shall be singing the angel’s song to the world. When every soul us busy in the recognition of the one Great Mind, when every voice is tuned to harmony of the one Great Musician, when every eye perceives God omnipresent, peace will come to earth in the hearts of men and love will reign supreme. "Glory to God in the highest" is the causation and "Peace on earth, good-will to men" is the effect. High over all is God Almighty.

The world was calling for a redeemer in those days when Jesus was born of Mary in Bethlehem. I am thinking that the angels came in response to the cry of the Jewish people and the shepherds were sufficiently illumined that they could hear the mighty truth. "Give glory to God in the highest then peace and good-will shall reign among men." Today the world is crying again for a redeemer. Shall you and I sing the angles’ chorus into consciousness of the world until every-where shall echo the great Christmas song telling that Chris is born in the hearts of men?

"For Lo! the days are hastening on,

By prophet bards foretold.

When with the ever circling years

Come round the age of Gold;

When peace shall over all the earth

Its ancient splendor fling.

And the whole world give back the song

Which now the angels sing."

You speak peace to a weary body racked with pain and Lo, peace and strength come. You speak peace for an inharmonious group of people using bitter looks and angry words and soon harmony is established. You speak with trust and faith for a man out of work, with no visible supply for his family, until he himself suddenly feels, "I will fear no evil for Thou art with me" and Lo, work comes from an unexpected source. And dear ones all, in the same way you are helping to hasten the day of universal peace and good-will among men when you faithfully, feelingly and believingly declare, day by day, "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good-will toward men." Thus you speak the Divine Fiat for the ages.
